Patricia H. Marliere, nee McLaughlin, formerly of Woodridge, IL, and recently a 26-year resident of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
Patricia, 68, was born on October 12, 1955, in Malden, MA and moved with her family to the suburbs of Chicago in 1959. She graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1974. Patricia met her husband, Ray, at a roller skating rink in Elmhurt, IL, and they were married shortly after on December 20, 1983 in Wheaton, IL.
She was a dispatcher at LaGrange, IL police force for several years. Later when they moved to Germantown Hills, she worked for many years at Peoria Wilbert Vault Co. in Metamora. She also enjoyed working at Snag Creek Golf Course.
Her family and friends remember her as an avid reader, an award winning cross stitch designer, always ready for a golf game, and a die-hard fan of the Peoria Chiefs baseball team where she was a member of the Booster Club for the team and se
