Eva Elizabeth Zook June 15, 1928 - June 8, 2024 EUREKA - Eva Elizabeth Zook went to the Lord on June 8, 2024, surrounded by family, one week shy of her 96th birthday. Eva was born in rural Danvers, IL on June 15, 1928, to Will and Esther May (Lander) Hasty. She is survived by her sister, Ethelene Martin; her son, Timothy (Melanie); grandchildren: Jarrett (Nicolette) and Rachel; and her daughter, Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eldon Hasty and her sisters: Lorene Yoder and Margaret England. Eva graduated from Danvers High School in 1946 and worked at several jobs within Central Illinois. It was while working at the Schrock's Congerville office she met the handsome former WWII sailor that would become her husband, Guilford David Zook, Jr. Thus began their journey which lasted nearly a lifetime. Guilford and Eva were married December 26, 1954, at the North Danvers Mennonite Church and remained married nearly 69 years until Guilford's death on November 18, 2023. Eva
