Brenda J. Brush, 80, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 6:41 pm on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She was born on April 13, 1944, in Kirksville, MO, to Reed and Helen (Redding) Riley. She married James R. "Jim" Brush on July 25, 1961 in Fulton County, AR. He passed away on January 17, 2016.
Surviving are her children, Kim (Jeff) Craft of Germantown Hills, IL, Kara (Greg) Tucker of East Peoria, IL, and Kyle (Angela King) Brush of Germantown Hills, IL; six grandchildren, Shane (Stacy) Craft, Amanda (Charlie) Zimmerman, Melissa Tucker (Tyler Moushon), Cole (Brittany) Craft, Jacob (Jessica) Craft, and Skyler Brush; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Smith of Queen City, MO; and brother, Bob (Charlene) Riley of Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Perley Smith, and brother- and sister-in-law, Bert and Georgia Kelsey.
Brenda had worked as a bookkeeper for Raber Packing Company, retiring in 2012. Brenda
